Comedy vs. Tragedy is a variety competition show in Portland, Oregon. A poet, a musician and a comedian bring their best performance skills to the stage and vie for audience applause. The winner features in the next show, gets a cash prize and one hour recording session at Shady Pines Media. In the Final round the new winner competes against the reigning champion of Comedy vs. Tragedy. This month we have a feature performance from poet Morgan Paige, the winner of Comedy vs. Tragedy #17. Come by on Friday, September 13th and share your music, poetry or comedy at the first Rocking Frog Cafe Open Mic hosted by our music resident Tate AK & poet Igor Brezhnev. Signups are from 5:30PM to 6PM, 12 ten minute slots are available and names will be drawn randomly throughout the evening.
