Song Lyric Slam and Open Mic

Free – $5Join us for our Song Lyric Slam. Sign up and perform the lyrics of a song like you would a slam poem! Go big! Do your favorite boy band hit or perform a Disney song like it’s the saddest poem ever written!
Sign ups are at 5:30 and the show is 6pm. There will be an open mic that is song lyrics optional.
There is a 5 dollar suggested donation for this even but no one is turned away!
We will be at our new venue, Tiny’s Coffee Northeast! This means our show is all-ages! Everyone is welcome. We do not censor our mic except for instances of hate-speech. Please also note that we start a little earlier then at previous venues.
Accessibility info: Tiny’s is on the 6 bus line, which is a frequent service line. It is a quarter mile from the the streetcar line and about a half mile away from the max. The building and stage is wheelchair accessible and most of the seating can be moved to create space for accessibility equipment. The venue serves food and coffee, so it is not scent-free.
