A live Zoom reading/ceremony/goof featuring poetry, fiction, ridiculous rituals and completely serious puns. Writing is magic! Writing is ritual. Our themed readings emphasize prose of all lengths (from prose poems to novel excerpts) with an emphasis on still-emerging writers. Our events also focus on building community and connections between writers. HOCUS is seeking like-minded initiates to the Order to share their writings and their journeys at our public readings.
