Participatory reading series with a social aspect and an esoteric vibe. For each reading we take submissions on a theme. This reading's theme is "Rites and Rituals." Scheduled readers will be Meg Fancher, Lea Peace, Lyndal Cairns, and Darlene Zimbardi. The Hermetic Order of Clandestine Urban Scribes, or HOCUS, is a literary reading series with a tongue-in-cheek emphasis on the ritual aspects of writing.
