Offering a variety of awards for work in the genres of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, young readers, drama, and publishing. Eleven fellowships carry the award of $3,500, while two will be for $10,000. Must be a current, full-time resident of Oregon. Poetry: 15 typed pages of poetry, one poem per page. Prose: No more than 25 pages double-spaced. Drama: No more than 25 pages. Synopsis pages are allowed but count towards page count. See their website for additional details. We’re pleased to announce that the 2021 Bitch Media Fellowships for Writers applications are now open! A series of three-month intensive writing fellowships, the goal is to develop, support, and amplify emerging voices in feminist media. All fellows will work under the guidance of Bitch cofounder Andi Zeisler. This fellowship was created in order to cultivate and amplify new voices.
